Running Live 10 beta. Everything working fine. I tried using Mono for the Utility Audio Effect after the Looper. No fade on the Clear command — it just clears the loop. ??
May 13, 2019 at 4:46 am #13393adminKeymasterYou need to reprogram the clear buttons using the config software to ‘quick fade clear’ or ‘long fade clear’ before that will work. Have you done that? You can open the ‘default config’ found on the resources page up in the config software and modify, then flash.
June 21, 2019 at 10:17 pm #13479Christian DoeringParticipantI have modified the config file — no change in the behavior. Long press on Stop clears the loop immediately, no fade. Tried both Looper and Clip looping with the Mono Utility. Not working.
June 24, 2019 at 8:27 pm #13481adminKeymasterI put together this video regarding fade. Let me know if it helps.
June 25, 2019 at 4:25 am #13484Christian DoeringParticipantThanks for that. Works now.
July 5, 2019 at 9:51 pm #13554Trey GunnParticipantFor some reason when I have either “long” or “short fade to clear” programmed in it only takes the Gain control down 1.20 db, and then doesn’t clear.
ideas?
cheers,
TG
July 5, 2019 at 11:33 pm #13555adminKeymasterCan you try the same setup as the video, using the default set as the starting point? Most likely in the set you are using clear is not mapped to the looper and there is a conflicting mapping on the gain.
July 6, 2019 at 9:45 pm #13556Trey GunnParticipantJust tried it again, starting from scratch with the default config.
Same thing.
I’m only changing the Looper Control 2 to a long press = long fade clear for the 2nd row of buttons
I did this for all 9 loopers and sent to the pedal. All functions work great except that one. It does stop the Looper, but then it only reduces the gain down 1.20db and doesn’t clear.
Ran a second test by only modifying Loopers 1-6 to function as long fade clear, and left Loopers 7-9 as clear immediately.
7-9 worked as they should — clearing immediately
1-6 still didn’t get but reduced gain by 1.20db.Also, I can do a second and third long press and keep reducing the gain a further 1.20db with each long press.
Any other ideas? Would this have any connection to my up left LED not having the red light function? Seems unlikely, but just throwing it out there.
Otherwise, the unit works flawlessly.many thanks,
Trey
July 8, 2019 at 4:02 am #13559adminKeymasterHmm this shouldn’t have any connection to the diode issue. Can you post what OS and version of live you are using? Also, if you are using 1.1 beta or the 1.0 remote script? We may have to screen share to figure out your issue. You can call at 8052426506. I’m currently out of town but will be back in a few days.
July 8, 2019 at 10:09 pm #13570Trey GunnParticipantYep.
Mac OS 10.12.6
Live 9.7.7I haven’t started using the beta yet.
Happy to screen share. I’ll email you directly.
cheers,
TG
July 12, 2019 at 6:38 pm #13587adminKeymasterThere was an issue on 9.7.7 with fades. It’s now fixed on the 1.1.1 beta remote script which is downloadable on the resources page :). Thanks!
July 15, 2019 at 5:49 pm #13592Trey GunnParticipantTotally working now!
many thanks, TG
